The Municipal Market of La Teste-de-Buch
The must-visit market in the Arcachon Bay! If you only have time to visit one market during your holidays, it should be the one in La Teste-de-Buch. Hosting around a hundred vendors under a covered hall and its forecourt, this market offers much more than food: clothing, shoes, crafts, art, and flowers are all available. You will also find several local producers offering high-quality organic products. Located in the city center, the covered market is open year-round from Tuesday to Sunday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., and on Mondays during the summer at the same times. An outdoor market is added on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays throughout the year. You can also find a bio market on Fridays.
The Night Market of Gujan-Mestras
This small open-air market in Gujan-Mestras is charming and friendly. It offers local crafts, tastings of regional products, and entertainment. You can find this night market on the Bassin d'Arcachon at Place de La Claire. It welcomes visitors every Friday evening from 6 PM to 10 PM during the summer. Gujan-Mestras also hosts a daytime market in the train station parking lot, open from 8 AM to 1 PM on Wednesdays, and on Saturdays at Place de La Claire.

This partially covered market is located at Place du Marché in Lège-Cap-Ferret. During summer, the market is open daily from mid-June to mid-September, and on Wednesday and Saturday mornings for the rest of the year (and Sundays starting from Easter holidays), always from 8 AM to 1 PM. During spring and Ascension school holidays, it is also open from Wednesday to Sunday mornings. You can purchase a wide variety of fresh products under its Baltard-style hall. You can also enjoy a coffee or dine on-site or at one of the square’s restaurants. The Arcachon market is usually open daily from 7:30 AM to 1 PM, except on Mondays outside school holidays. During school holidays, it also opens from 5 PM to 8 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. From early July to late August, the same location hosts a night market, welcoming several artisans displaying jewelry, decorations, clothing, cosmetics, wooden toys, books, and more. This night market is open from Tuesday to Friday, from 7 PM to 11 PM.
The Organic and Local Producers Market in Moulleau
If you're looking for organic and local products during your vacation in the Arcachon Bay area, this small organic market offers wonderful fruits and vegetables, as well as cheeses and wines. You’ll also find some crafts and eco-friendly cosmetics. The market is located on Avenue Notre Dame des Passes near the Moulleau pier. It is open from 8 AM to 1:30 PM every Tuesday in July and August. You’ll find other markets in the various towns around Arcachon Bay, such as Biganos, Andernos-les-Bains, near our Arès campsite, Audenge, or Le Teich. Markets are also a special time for locals who enjoy sharing their regional products and culture with passing tourists.
